Sand gourd should give a boost. The sand inside it is chakra infused in anime.

Gaara's keekei genkai is jiton (magnet release). His first element should always be doton.

maybe add sand manipulation similar to how nara clans shadow manipulation is in game. sand does direct damage on contact.

add sand mirage (Suna Mirage) . similar to kirigakure no jutsu except the color is brown.

Sand Hail( Suna Arare). can be a homing move like kirin or Amaterasu.
